Menjablanc de Reus is the typical dessert of Reus (a town located in the south of Catalonia, in Spain), which is made since the mid-seventeenth century.
From its origins in the Mediterranean area, around the eighth century, Menjablanc has evolved. Over the years and mostly when the sugar arrived in Europe, it has been possible to elaborate delicious confectionery and exquisite desserts with almonds, which nowadays are present in countless culinary combinations. Menjablanc de Reus is one of the most outstanding and genuine desserts.
